Hi Guys
I have recently purchased a Suzuki 125GZ fuel injection model, 2009with a faulty ignition switch.
The ignition switch has 7 wires on it, the block of six and an extra orange and white, All the replacements I see on ebay only have the six block type.
I purchased one of these thinking I could swap the innards but could not.
The switch when fitted to the bike allows all functions to work but the red FI light comes on after a short while.
Where can I obtain the correct switch or can the one I purchased be hard wired to suit?
Regards
Miknik

Well, if you can't find an aftermarket item for your year ,then I would go to a Suzuki dealer, isn't that easy.

get a wiring diagram and work out what the extra orange/white does, I think it's power in, eg un switched

Yes that is why I avoided Suzuki dealer.

The wiring diagram in my Haynes does not show this model therefore I cannot trace the wire function, but wondering if I put the other end to a live connection and smell for burning and a quick check if FI light goes out might through some light on it.

regards

Don't be so stupid,
Trace the o/w wire to see where it goes would be the first step

Put a live wire to the w/o wire and the indicator light comes on, no burning, lol
For FI read Fl = fuel level/low I do not yet know what the white /orange wires purpose is but everything runs fine so I will stick to my £ 12 plus switch and save my £350 lock set money.
