Ouch!

I'd be curious to see what Niagara Falls looked like say ~1 million years ago.

I'd go back and slip the Virgin Mary a length, or two. Laughing

Leicester Forest Services or Watford Gap Services northbound on the M1 (I'd have to check which it was) at about 3pm on Sunday the 4th of April 2004.

I could find out what happened to the trailer we were towing or I could take it a step further and stop the crash we were in from ever happening.

F*ck me I'd be straight there to warn G about it... I checked the tyres on the trailer before you guys left. I thought the pressures might have been a bit low, but G told me he'd checked them. The tyres were in decent nick though, no cuts or canvas showing.

That day still haunts me a bit, and I wasn't even directly involved...

But other than that I'd be going back to see gigs and things that people say were legendary. Donnington Monsters Of Rock 1988 springs to mind. A lot of other stuff might result in changing history which I'd probably want to avoid. Apart from perhaps the Brexit referendumb of 2016 or the election of Donnie T. We truly live in the darkest timeline.

That'd be awesome.

you're thinking small here, you could be in the band Twisted Evil

I could do some scaffold spannering, push things around, maybe plug stuff in or tune guitars but that's about it.
Trust me, if I made it into the band, they wouldn't need roadies.

You clearly haven't envisaged the ones where the Cuban Missile Crisis tipped over the edge, or somewhere like Iran enriched Uranium quicker and got a bit bomby bomby.

Alternatively, to quote the film History Boys. When Churchill was elected on May 10, 1940, Lord Halifax was at the dentists. If Halifax had had better teeth, then jetz sprechen wir alles das Deutsch.

If someone has tried to warn us that one of the trailer tyres would disintegrate by the time we got to Sudbrooke then it almost certainly would have been laughed off just because of how many times they'd been checked by multiple people. Laughing

If someone did something to the tyres at the motorway services then a time machine would be perfect to transport the culprit to the time of the dinosaurs. Laughing

I'd go and Give Henry VIII a shot of penicillin for his dodgy knee and a bit of counciling to help with his head injury, in exchange for a small gift from his Grace, Cornwall would be nice.

I would go back to 1979 and shag Joanne Smith until my teen knob falls off. Why did it take me so long to realise she was begging for it?

Forward a thousand years with my guitar (spare strings obvs).

If nothing is there I'll have a guitar to strum.
If money is still a thing then I could rent it out to get by.

I'd like to see what the trees look like that I planted.

I'd play 'my' versions of popular tunes of the day. My version of 'Toxic' by the musical genius and mastermind Britney Spears will be historic.

I'm not keen on changing history or doing stuff to save an event or disaster or disease from happening. Something else probably far worse would always restore the balance or end life etc.

I'd like to go back to the pre-big bang 500cc GP days and the open class MX factory bike era, to be an HRC NSR500 or RC500 test rider. Laughing

Or just to work in the HRC development team and know all the then secrets of how we were going to get rediculous power out of our engines, and design parts and operate the engine dyno etc.

I'd go back to 1980 and since Bill Gates had just been tragically run over and killed by a motorcycle, offer to write an operating system for the soon to be announced IBM Personal Computer. I think I might have made a few quid out of that

Surely the thing to do is go forward in time to find one of those mega rollovers and just jump in the week before Smile

Nothing. If anything in my past was changed, I wouldn't be the person I am now and I'm quite happy with my lot.

Back 12 years and tell my grandfather to keep pressuring the hospital for a scan.

Then he could finish the books he was writing and see his great grand children.

Fuck I miss him.
