Hi all,
Found out after the MOT that the license plate light was out (poor show, I know).
The mechanic doing it soldered a bulb onto the wires for a pretty good temporary fix. I've bought a cheap led of ebay.
Didn't think about how it would connect. The old one goes into a white connector but the new one just has two little cylindical shapes on the end. Is soldering the route. Anyone know the best way ahead or some trick? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Fred

The old number plate lamp connects via a connector block. It looks as though the connections (which are replaceable) have simply corroded.

The new one uses bullet connectors.

You can:

Clean or replace the original connectors, wiring in the new LED if you want to, or leaving the original bulb.
Convert the connectors to use bullets, using the new LED if you want to.
