i just got a new lazer blue bulb for my side light at the front but other than being a little brighter it looks the same and isnt blue do these bulbs only look blue from a distance?

also what does h1-2-3-4-5-6-7- mean ??

and whats the best buls to get ?

blue bulb are only slightly brighter, the real diff is in the type of light emmitted, blue bulbs allegedly give a "more like daylight" lighting affect making things more clearly definable in the road,

They will appear blue ish from a distance.

The H coding referrs to different shapes and sizes of bulbs. Depending on what will fit in your headlamp.

The most common is the H4 which is a twin filament one with three pins and a shaped collar round it.

If its just a side light bulb it will just have a blue coating on it, as it is not a halogen or the like.
