today i did crash!(tef length post)

TWICE!
1st one .2 lanes going to merge into 1 +filter lane for people to turn right.
car in lane 1 im in lane 2going past going to merge approx speed 30mph.
car in lane one decides to turn right resulting in contact.
bar end makes mess of door and knee does some denting,mirror is on the deck.
bike and me = no damage
car begind me has dashcam and stops "says he saw it all and has video"
the quite attractive lady driver of the car that hit me then asks "if it was her fault?"
ending in no damage to me or new. NEW! bike so i said "pick up your bits and thats an end to it"
all happy end of story.
later that same day......
filtering past line of stationary traffic leading up to traffic light controled junction.
i notice a car infront of me has left a gap for people to exit a petrol station to may left,i notice that there is infact a car exiting said petrol station and he is intending to turn right.so i stop adjacent to the car that had stopped to allow cars to pull out.
im stopped this needs to be made clear.I am stopped both feet on the ground.
car pulling out then hits my front wheel!
some loud swearing happens.
driver says "he didnt see me"
car has scuff down to the plastic on front bumper
my bike NEW BIKE has no damage
so once again agreed that its their fault their damage and their problem.

TLDR: shameless ive got a new bike post.

You’re either unlucky or need to be a bit more cautious when filtering.

If a car hit you when entering a right filter lane, which appeared after your lane had merged from 2 back down to 1, maybe that wasn’t the best place to be overtaking traffic? Surely you were over the hatching?

If you spotted the car leaving a gap for someone to pull out, why did you stop only to leave your front wheel in the way?

Both avoidable IMO.
