I'd love to see how this forum would look if each thread that had been unnecessarily invaded by mpd bigotry was given a glaring red colour scheme or something.

There aren't enough red pixels in the world for that to be possible.

I read that as 'Red Pills' for some reason. Must be something inherent with seeing mpd72's handle come up in non political threads.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

You use that feature and still manage to argue with people you set as enemy. Laughing

If you fancy learning new skills why not consider evening classes? You might well find something you're either missing as a skill or just fancy doing anyway.
Often those evening classes come with discounts and subsidies depending on your personal circumstances.
Might not even be computing - could be basic welding or anything.

I think that learning some kind of real skill is a bettet choice if your older. I would live to do a genuine cabinet making course or creative blacksmithing.

Do mid 40s students get the same kind of handouts that younger people do?

I think it was up to early twenties that the state subsidised education at least in Scotland.
I'm not sure about he OU and have heard that it their subjects were hit and miss which is a concerned if you're dropping a few k on a course out of your own pocket

I'm late 40s and want to do a college course. Does anyone want to suggest that I'm taking advantage of the state at the expense of other people?

(It'll be a welding course, just because, and I'll be paying for this myself)

Unlike you, I don't use the 'enemy' feature. Only weak snowflake crybaby trigger poppets need to create safe spaces for themselves on the internet.

Old Thread Alert!
