Now mistakes can be made, of course, but what I can never understand is why it takes seconds to go out of your account and days ( in this case 9 working days) to go back into your account.

Any banking types here can give reasons/excuses?

Must be nice to have a bank that allows you to bend your card for over 55k in a single transaction and not have the delightfully monotone response of 'your card has been declined sir', complete with condescending look.
