|

OK, guys. Since the rebuild finished last week, I have had a couple of teething issues.
1) the fuel gauge always shows full no matter how much fuel.
2) the temp gauge rises up the dial, but won't decrees. If I remove the sender wire it drops down to zero fine. Connect it back up, and it shows correct temp.
Both were working fine before the rebuild.
Any Ideas? ____________________ Carbon closet tart! https://www.bikepics.com/members/r6stuk/02r6/

I thought similar, however, the wires are to size to fit only the plugs designed too. also, the fuel sender is a block plug, so can only go one way.
Originally the temp gauge would not go up at all. I then found out that it earths to the frame via the housing, As I had powder coated the frame it did not earth.
I have since removed the powder coat, and it is now rising, but that's it! ____________________ Carbon closet tart! https://www.bikepics.com/members/r6stuk/02r6/

Defoe power to both, as when unplug sender for fuel it drops. Yes it's a blue green on temp sensor. If remove the wire from temp sender and earth it rises. Un earth sensor wire it drops, so gauges in dash themselves are fine.
I think when fuel dropped I will remove and move fuel sender and try manual moving it. ____________________ Carbon closet tart! https://www.bikepics.com/members/r6stuk/02r6/
