Nobody is going to persuade me to vote based on years past. No one in their right mind would vote for Labour as they currently are. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

I don't have anything to moan about except the EU. Everyone has had to cope with what successive governments have done over the years, and yet still the Tories get voted in. They can't be doing that bad. You make your own way in this world, and shouldn't expect anyone else to make it all easy for you. And that's from someone who hasn't done particularly well for himself. Take responsibility for your own life. If it's shit, do something about it. If you can't, then like with me, tough. Life isn't easy. If it was, we'd all moan that we were bored. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

The tories had to hoodwink the Lubdums into coaltion in 2010 then had to dangle the Euro referendum to get elected again and only just managed to cling on in the last election. Yes people vote Tory but then people eat crap food and wonder why tbey get fat.
An interesting Quara post on dictatorshuos and why they're always right wing. https://www.quora.com/Has-there-ever-been-a-right-wing-dictatorship |

Lol... so Stalin wasn't a dictator, or Castro |
Isn't the basic problem with Marxism/Communism, looks like socialist, is actually capitalist?
Total equality looks like a brilliant idea on paper, but one of life's great truisms is that there are two types of people, leaders and followers, but there are more followers than leaders.
So when it comes down to it, an equal society is a terrific idea, until the first time somebody has to make a decision, then that somebody becomes the leader and is suddenly a cut above the rest.
That leader can choose to be totally egalitarian, but inevitably someone else will decide they would like to be the leader, then it all breaks down into a power/wealth struggle and the socialist ideal goes out of the window.
Corbyn/Watson personifies this model. ____________________ Things get better with age; I'm close to being magnificent........

No, it's not even a good thing to aim for. You cannot get rid of hierarchies. They are inevitable, in just about every endeavour you can think of. The fact is, we are not all equal - intelligence, athletic ability, artistic ability etc etc. These are facts of life. So there will always be hierarchies.
It is right that the best should get to the top.
It is also good that society works not to leave those less fortunate too far behind. But equality of outcome...equity ( )...is not a good thing to aim for. It's simply impossible to achieve, and would be ruinous if you tried to force it artificially, as we are beginning to see (again). ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

So because the thick kids parents are high in a particular hierarchy that child gets to enjoy a leg up thats denied the clever kid whose parents are lower down in the hierarchy. Yes hierarchies exist, nobody denies that but regimes that protect privalidge by either actively protecting groups enjoying such or by omitting to protect others with capacity from accessing successes, thats bad and that's what the right actively promotes. |

What utter shit. Have you missed the RMT and other union banners at these school children "climate change" demonstrations? I've certainly noticed them on the news clips.
Why do you think they're being branded as "strikes"? Who exactly are the children denying of their services? It's not a "strike", they're just being indoctrinated by hard left groups such as XR, who are abusing the badge of "climate change" to get kids to get used to practising civil disobedience against a right of centre government. XR's motives are far more than climate change, they're just using this and children to create the next generation of far left militants.
Take a kid out of school for a day to halve the price of a holiday and you get fined thousands, let them bunk off for the day in the name of climate change and it's actively encouraged by the left wing teachers.
There's a bloody good reason they do these protests on a school day, it's to boost the numbers, by letting the kids bunk off without fear of any trouble. It's like a fecking non uniform day to them.
I don't think I've ever met a right wing teacher in the last 10 years. They're all like you, Peter Pan characters too terrified of the real world, so hide away in educations into their adult life, meaning they never matured out of student lefty politics.
