I think there would be several groups of different people cheering when this happened. The motorcycles owner, Joe Public who were being terrorised by a speeding motorcycle on the estate, Joe Public who had been terrorised by the idiot who placed the bicycle and so on..

This should be put in the dictionary as the classic definition of win/win.

There is a slight down side to this story, 2 in fact.

1. He didn't hit the little scrote putting the bike in the road.

2. Said scrote only got 3 years. He'll be out in 18 months.

Other than that though, Dance!

Reading the version of the story in the first post, I'm not entirely sure why that particular scrote got sent down, actually. It seems the bike-thieving scrote who died was tearing up the estate on a stolen bike and generally making an arse of himself, and scrote #1 was just trying to impede the progress of scrote #2 by blocking the road - note in particular "Judge Blair said it would have been possible for Mr Rice to have stopped to avoid the bike but he was accelerating and pulling a "wheelie" at the time" A manslaughter conviction seems a bit harsh under the circs.

Agreed. As a non motorcyclist, he wouldn't have known how hard it is to stop, or the potential consequences of the accident. I suspect he just thought putting the bike in the way would make him slow down? 3 years seems harsh, when the scrote who stole and rode the bike should have been the one to go down had he not done himself in. At the end of the day you ride a wheelie down a residential street with no helmet, and you take the consequences of that.

Seems that concerns about the gentrification of Bristol were unfounded after all.

What a beautiful fairy tale of c*ntf*ckery

“Mike was a loving, caring person," she said.

"It feels like so long since we have been able to see Mike's cheeky smile and hear his infectious laugh."

Wouldn’t want to catch whatever he had, it appears to be fatal.

Another caption reads "The Yo bike used to kill him"
