Ordered this from Amazon.

Can it be real. When I go onto my order page and click the item it shows more than £2300

I contacted Amazon and they didn't seem too concerned and said it was Cocha.

I'm looking forward to what will arrive, would be nice if it is real. Shocked

If you paid 1600 that is an alright price.

If it was £3, no that's silly and they'll hunt you down.

I'd be extremely surprised if it was genuine though... I'm looking at replacing my 1070ti with a 2080ti and they are 1200+, the i9 is also a lot more than I'd want to pay. Laughing

Typically if something looks too good... Especially pc wise, I tend to dodge it.

Are you sure you didn't click on a used one? There's a bewildering array of options under some of the listings; I found one identical to your spec for ~£1300 but only as used.

Email from Amazon saying it has been dispatched. I'm still not confident on the arrival of the advertised machine but hayho what will be will be.

There are others that I see that are getting cheaper.

I don't know who you bought that from but the sellers of similar items are using fake addresses.

Scott G Stanley
77 Dover Road
WESTHOUSE
LA6 5PP
GB

LA6 5PP is not a real postcode. LA is Lancaster, but there is no 5PP. 77 Dover Road exists but not in Westhouse.

Lets try another one...

Gracie Dunn
56 Asfordby Rd
ALDEBY
NR34 3RN
GB

NR34 3RN again Norwich postcode but 3RN is fake. Aldeby is near Norwich but 56 Asfordby Rd is near Nottingham.

Basically... it's probably a scam.

On the plus Amazon has confirmed I'll get my money back if it is not real so that's ok.

The problem I've got now is that I've bigged myself up to get that spec of computer, It could then cost >>£2000 and I can't afford that. Crying or Very sad

If you want fast and top tier, it won't be cheap.

I'm scared of my next upgrade.

I knew someone, years ago now, bought a then state of the art laptop from Sony for a couple of quid

they (I think it might have been direct from Sony) threatened him with all sorts if he didn't mail it back, he kept replying along the lines of "I'm not saying you can't have it back, I'm saying as it is your mistake you must come and collect it"

they gave up and let him keep it in the end
