I've twice laid myself flat-out on the ground by walking into the back end of my own canoe that I'd just finished strapping to the roof-rack of my own van. Nobody there to film it though.

The added irony of that is there is constant debate in canoeing circles about if it's necessary to wear a helmet in an open canadian (on the basis that if it goes upside down, you are no longer in it, unlike a kayak). Consensus seemed to be that very few people had ever hit their head while paddling one but many had hit their head while transporting one in some other manner.
