I see Corbyn and Swinson are vying over how much free child care they can give.

Does anybody else think if you have kids make sure you can pay for them and not expect everyone else to financially support your rugrat. Evil or Very Mad

The alternative would just be women of childbearing age either not going to work or not having kids. Unintended consequences would apply here I suspect. I would limit it to 2 children.

Globally, that's exactly what we need. Hell of an environmental policy.

Locally, less so, particularly in the purely selfish question of who's going to look after me when I'm old.

Still, there are far too many people, governments should be WAY less focused on growth and more on stability and social contentment moving forwards. So the economy contracted?! Big fucking whoop. Better a slow contraction than a big crash. We shouldn't be subsidising people to breed.

Isn't the average age at which you flip from being a Tory to Labour voter 47?

A commedian pointed out the other day that labours policies regarding more funding for the NHS and a better state pension are ultimately, self-defeating.

Even ultra feminist Corbynista women have a bio clock and a very powerful urge to have kids. It's probably much stronger than their cares for abstract issues like climate change. The population problem isn't in Europe anyway, it's in Africa and the Middle East.
