In terms of refugees, the numbers entering the UK are always small due to the distance from any current conflicts -

How many do you think are getting here illegally and unnoticed, when we've had almost 300 a week recently, getting caught off the Kent coast?

15,000 per year.

That's the ones actually caught if you're working out 300 x 52. How many do you think get in illegally and unnoticed, for the risk to be worthwhile?

These people traffickers who are caught have usually been doing it for months before they get caught. I reckon at least 20 times more get in unnoticed.

But on average they do get caught, and the asylum stats include those caught this year in this years figures. Most of them tend to get caught in a year or 2, they work in all the usual types of manual labou places and get raided all the time. The number you describe is self limiting anyway as the more numerous they become the higher the probability they will be caught.Without UK nationality/visa you can't rent a house, cant get a bank account, and cant get a non-slave job.

A friend had a fruit and veg business. He used to deliver to kebab shops and have to step in between the bodies crashing out all over the floor upstairs when delivering of a morning. We're talking 30 people in a small premises. How many of them do you think were legally here?

They were the kebab ingredients. It's a good system, work them to death then eat the evidence. Thumbs Up

Basically then, when politicians brag about more Doctors, Nurses, Hospitals, etc. They are saying:

"The NHS is expanding. To meet the needs of the expanding NHS".
