All,

After some help as I can't find the code for a continuous flash of the FI light on a 98 VFR800 has anyone had this?

It starts fine and will rev fine but there's obviously something wrong.
I can't now take it out as I've had a can.

I jump the service indicator and again it just flashes which the book only goes to 24 flashes codes.

Any ideas?

First off - check the (blue?) connector behind the left hand front fairing under the bars. Might be slathered in tape. They're a bit tempremental at this age. Give it a clean it out, there's likely corrosion. Then, check your earths, one of them may have fuzz, or has worked loose. Yell if you need a .pdf of the manual. See if they sort things.

Not sure if you've sorted it - a mate suggests it's a sensor near the fuel tank, quite common apparantly.
