And only 40 miles on the clock, ten of them today Sad

Those who bothered to read my thread when I bought it may remember I mangled a finger half an hour before I took delivery which made it impossible to get a glove on. I've restricted myself to short rides as I can't afford any damage to the healing finger, which will now take a glove but not comfortably. The skin is growing back rapidly however, so maybe by the end of the week I'll be firing on all cylinders again (Or one cylinder, in the case of the bike).

I do like the bike, it is nice and light which is what I want now, my days on the quicker stuff are behind me. It makes a perfect B road cruiser, and those are the roads that abound down here. The shops in Wales reopen tomorrow so the first job is a new pair of boots, when I got my 20 year old Sidi's out of storage the composite ankle protector on one shattered as I put my foot in having become brittle with age. I am beginning to feel like a biker again though, it is so nice to be back on a powered two wheeler, even if it is a very low powered two wheeler.

I haven't posted much as I haven't really had anything much to post about, but I enjoy reading the forum and hope to contribute more as I start racking up the miles.

Ride often, ride safe.

Hey Smokin' Joe. Welcome back to the land of the living! Glad to hear you are back on the road.
Dude! Don't miss out on a great opportunity to impress the lads. You can say that you were bungee jumping and the cord snapped. Or that you were skydiving and the parachute failed to open, the ankle protector shattered on impact, saving your life! Wink Hell, you got the proof right there!

Old Thread Alert!

The last post was made 5 years, 218 days ago. Instead of replying here, would creating a new thread be more useful?
