Right wing policies like opening the country to mass immigration?
Yeah, really right wing.

It could be said that immigration has suited the capitalists on the right (cheap labour) and the global egalitarians on the left. Equal blame.

When students and Muslims are also most likely to be the 2 largest demographics for electoral fraud, democracy is fecked.

Yeah, yeah, can you get teachers in there too?
I didn't mention the working class but I wouldn't disagree with your assessment, which is why The Labour Party is lost. I think they're going to get a pasting. I'd have voted for Old Labour. Sadly no one in my constituency represents my views. I wanted to vote but couldn't this time.

I think it's something you very much want to believe. If it happens I'd wonder whether it is significant. Some sauce would help. Wink

This is the thing, all these Brexit voting poor areas where people would normally vote Labour are going to Boris because they believe the day after Brexit the cheap eastern European Labour tap will be shut off. Everyone will wake up to see job adverts for what they do offering more wages. It's bulls#it of course as the Tories love providing the business sector cheap labour one way or another. This has to be the weirdest election ever.

The important question: will Momentum also be dismantled?

The Momentum rep on the BBC basically said it wasn't a failure on the part of the Labour manifesto - that was fine - it's just the public needed to change their attitude Shocked

I live in Seaton Valley which forms part of Blyth Valley and yes I'm stunned by the result. Labour since the 1930s I think?

Can’t quite believe it. Wales is an echo chamber for plaid and Labour so it all seemed like a non Tory government to me. Fuckin fucked it mate. Friday 13th too.. can’t make this shit up.

Time to strap in for the brexit rollercoaster, I hope you brexiters are right in your convictions. Time will tell. If nothing else it’s going to be interesting.

I see Labour are saying it has to be a woman. FFS, PC rears it's head again.

It has to be the best person for the job. If that's a woman, fine, if it's a man choose him.

Only if you are Conservative. She's almost as toxic as Corbyn.

Jess Phillips comment........

“And the Labour Party is now on its fourth election defeat. It hasn’t won a general election since 2005. This is not a time for easy answers, as much as I wish it was, I wish there was some silver bullet but I also wish I was a size 10.”

Thumbs Up Laughing
