Just out on Steam:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/989770/Biker_Garage_Mechanic_Simulator/

Another "rushed out too early and full of bugs" but might be worth keeping an eye on.

Personally I like "My Summer Car" but more for the twisted Finnish humour Smile

"Biker Garage: Mechanic Simulator allows you to be a real motorcycle mechanic. Your main aim is to be the most excellent mechanic for your clients.

You start your adventure in a small home workshop and grow it to become the best motorcycle workshop in the world. Test your bikes on a track, check the quality of your repairs and performance that can be improved by fine-tuning.

When you expand your business(and your garage), you will unlock new features like auction system, racing, and skills for more difficult tasks."

Reviews make it sound like if you've ever lifted a spanner and done work on a bike yourself then you'll be disappointed by this game!!

The review which says "I love how you can bleed the brakes and it has cables to the battery and hoses to oil cooler" sums it up quite well and all I can say to that review is go and bleed your own brakes. Laughing

Yes, thinking about it something like Car Mechanic Simulator 2018 and My Summer Car allow you to fantasise about doing things with cars you could only manage with a lift or a pit.

My Summer Car does go a bit further and attempt to simulate engine wear. For example, if your alternator's fucked you can run the car if you're prepared to keep charging the battery. And I burnt down the in-game house once when I disconnected the positive before the negative.

Most people can work on bikes IRL without a problem (unless you live in a 3rd floor flat or something.)

I have been playing Plane Mechanic Simulator. That's good fun, everything from refuelling and rearming a Spitfire to full engine rebuilds.

There's also "Bum Simulator" (American sense of the world) where you can flex those Minecraft skills building your dream home from old cardboard boxes and discarded newspapers. And then there's the super-creepy sounding "Priest Simulator." The only downside of buying "My Summer Car" and "Jalopy" is the subsequent Steam recommendations.
