Oh, Dear God. Please let it be true.

Tomorrow will tell, and I will have sobered up a bit.

The exit polls are correct.

We have rejected the anti semite, British hating twat. Shame on labour for fielding such a cxnt.

When my cousin a Union rep in Middlesbrough is voting Tory it tells you all you need to know, about the racist cxnts.

Turns out my vote did count after all. Who'd have thunk it?

OH. MY. F*CKING. GOD.
Although I live in an area called Seaton Valley, it forms part of Blyth Valley - yeah a Labour stronghold since the 1930s or something. It has fallen to the Tories!! Sure we have Ronnie Campbell retiring and a woman stepping in but wow - I am stunned.
Ian Lavery kept his neighbouring seat of Wansbeck (Labour) but gave an insight in a statement - he said that the reason for Labour falling in so many places was their want of a 2nd referendum. I do agree with that but they also need to include the fact that they've walked from the places that made Labour a political movement and settled in a cosy city called London.

Laura Pidcock, a woman destined for top roles in Labour has also lost her seat - again I'm stunned.

Labour got it wrong big time. They pandered to a small group of extremely loud folk baying for a second referendum which fitted into their left wing agenda.

Everyone is sick of it and wants out, even my parents that originally voted to remain want out. I get the feeling that if a second referendum was actually to come to pass, there would be a larger majority for leave.

Campaigning under that guise did them no favours, particularly as it tended to be the working class who they traditionally relied on for votes in the north that they alienated by their soft approach to Brexit. I don't really know how they hoped to win based on that.

I am told by The Boy that someone opened the door in the middle of the night and yelled a loud "Yee-HAA!" into the darkness. I don't think it was me, but it might well have been. I'll clear up the bottles later. Oh, my God. My *head*.

The media class on Twitter had convinced themselves that as they all agreed Labour must have won. Real world: Labour crushed.

Final crushing defeat of the night was Jo Swinson losing her seat, followed by Nicola Sturgeon dancing around on her grave.

Now I don't like wee Willie Kranky but seeing her when Swinson lost her seat made me laugh.

Swinson was the worst of the lot in my eyes. Total disregard for Democracy in a party called the Liberal Democrats. Fcuk you and your EU financed hubby Jo. Middle Finger

I liked how she followed up dancing on her grave by saying how sorry she felt that "my friend Jo has lost her seat". Laughing
