Don't worry, we won. We don't have to. Laughing

These communist students obviously don't understand the idea of a democracy. It's a vote, it went a certain way, deal with it.

I can't see why they are complaining though, when Brexit is done it will dramatically decrease their chances of Polish Pete coming over from lands afar and stealing their shit job jamming doughnuts in the local Morrisons when they realise their 25k Lesbian interpretive dance degree is worth less than the toilet paper I wipe my arse with.

Meanwhile I'll keep my skilled, non university, well paid composites job I have with my friendly Dutch overseers who honestly couldn't give a fuck about Brexit. Laughing

The protest is so embarrassing. It's like the idiots who went wailing after Trump. Boris won, Brexit won, no need to moan about it, just sit back and watch how things play out.

Personally I've found my philosophy for the coming 5 years. It takes two directions, both of which will work in my favour:

1. Hope everything works out okay and the country improves. Works for me economically.
2. Bask in an endless stream of "I told you so" as things go downhill. Works for my smugness.

Win-Win Very Happy

I mean why did they support comrade corbyn, at any point in the election did they not take one step back, look at the labour leader and think 'oh my god, what have we done' Shocked

P.s just wondering, are we now going to get a hatey post from hetzer Mr. Green

I bet he was protesting last night

I watch 5 minutes of Question Time last night before the Captain Morgan's spiced kicked in and I lost interest.

How did the Tories win? Everything anyone else said was greeted with rapturous applause and adoration.

Poor Tory chap got the silent treatment.

If it was me I'd have said 'Fcuk you, we won, na na naaaa.' while wearing a smug face. Thumbs Up

It's pure echo-chamber.

They need to learn that staying in a room with a group of people who loudly and vocally hold the same oppinion as you gives a false inpression that eveyrone agrees with you.

The remain camp are so obnoxiously loud and prepared to shout down anyone who holds a contrary view, it borders on hatred. They turn up en-mass and loudly and publically lambast anyone who doesn't agree with them with protesting, social media campigning and behaviour bordering on fanatical hate in order to silence them.

They succeeded. The majority kept silent. I have quietly kept my views to myself on numerous occasions when in the presence of rabid remainers because I don't need to be subjected to that sort of fanatical bile. However, their oppinions do not hold sway in my houselold no matter how loudly they shout and facebook propoganda does not exist inside a polling station.

I've grown up enough to realise that someone who is prepared to shout you down is not worth talking to. They wont listen so why bother. They now wrongly think that because their own oppinion is the only one they were hearing, they must have been in the majority.

Boris policy of not subjecting himself to shouty public debates and broadly speaking, keeping his fool mouth shut is what won it for him.

^^^ Yep, totally agree^^^

It was the same on FB with a lot of the Labour supporters. If you vote Tory you are a selfish cvnt and I don't want you as a friend etc. Almost could be classed as bullying.

Now they've lost they can't understand as no one supported the Tories.

Biased media of course Rolling Eyes
But https://metro.co.uk/2019/12/10/investigation-finds-88-tory-ads-misleading-compared-0-labour-11651802/

However pretty much backed up by Fullfact.org https://fullfact.org/election-2019/ads/

How much influence does new media have these days compared with the old "it was the Sun what won it" days?

Not just selfish, but also racist and thick. There was the same crap being spouted about Brexit too, and I think the 'I'm not racist, go fuck yourself' kickback pushed more than a few to vote leave. These people don't/can't seem to realise that the opposite of socialist is not racist stupidity or the 'far right'.
