It would be interesting to have the ability to view (on your own FB profile) some new stats related to number of people that have added the person to an ignore list.

It might give some of the more hardcore political posters some food for thought.

Like has been discussed on here before - they become convinced that they are the majority because the only people commenting on their posts are posting support. Whereas in reality, everyone else has them on "ignore" Smile

Well he doesn't seem to agree with you!

Brexit ‘propaganda' broadcast in 3,000 primary schools

I honestly don't think teachers are going to be going out of their way to deliberately teach their chosen political ideology in class. They have a curriculum to follow and OFSTED standards to keep up with.

Also you can't say every lefty is a student, then follow with a comment about teachers (not students) also being lefties.

Surely it's more likely that anyone who feels negatively affected by the government is going to be anti-government. Hence doctors and nurses tend to fall under this category too.

I never post politics on my timeline, but Facefart likes to inform all my friend list of comments made in group posts.

That's simply because you can't work facebook, as has already been established multiple times on various posts/threads

Yeah, but you consider Tommy Robinson to be a little left of center.

You don't debate, you spout your bollocks and then refuse to admit that anyone else has a valid opinion.

Not strictly speaking true. I pointed out an incorrect assumption on the gold reserves recently and MPD conceded my post was informative.

We'd get a lot more done if people just stuck to facts rather than opinion and abuse...

...but then it would be exceedingly dull Laughing

Possibly, but there's no doubting that the educational system is producing an unnatural number of hard left militants. There's a good reason the only seat in Kent to go Labour is the University town.

Whenever we see protesters bawwing about not winning an election and demanding their minority opinion wins, they're left wing students who think they have a God given right to getting their own way, regardless of democracy.

I know a few teachers, every single one is a Momentum style Labour voter, with such strong opinions, I won't talk politics in real life and have to mute them on social media on the run up to a political event.

Some University lecturers in the UK are actually fully funded by the EU and are placed to push EU agenda to the vulnerable kids. I can't remember the name of the scheme now, it's a woman's name and has been linked to on here a few times. I agree with Johnson on this one, that education should not teach students to follow one political ideology.

You can't call that impartial. That's proper brainwashing of the Socialist Hitler Yoof.

Studying how European businesses operate is a bad thing, that seems a trifle shortsighted considering the imminent split from the EU?

That didn't take long:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7809129/Nicola-Sturgeon-claims-mandate-Scottish-independence-referendum.html

Nicola Sturgeon writes to Boris Johnson to formally request fresh Scottish independence referendum.

Didn't she write one to Appeaser May not long ago?

Just give them the referendum, they aren't the only country/kingdom of the UK that want independence, or at least a vote on independence, afteral, haven't at least 1 of the cornish mp's made their acceptance speech in cornish? !! If it's that important to them, let Dumnonia have a referendum on independence as well
