Thought I'd share. I love it already but only done ~50 miles on it so far. 2020 is going to be fucking sweet.

Too many wheelies made the old one all mushy?

For someone who was getting a real hard on for doing big wheelies, I do think this is a strange choice, as a pre electronics era 1000 would surely be better for that purpose?

Haha not the reason I traded in. Just fancied the new one with all the bells and whistles. The old one was still handling fine even though it was abused a little during the learning process.

I got pretty OK with wheelies in the end, I can do clutch ups alright and don't bang them down anymore. My fascination has died down now anyway so if I do decide to do wheelies on this one, they'll be more controlled and not as often.

The cool thing with this one is the anti-wheelie has been separated from the traction control, so I can have full traction control but still pop wheelies to my heart's content. (Have yet to test this myself though, but that's what BMW are saying).

Agreed, it'll also probably be the best summer ever.
