I like cats especially when they'rey slow cooked (4-5 hours) in chicken stock with onions, carrots, potatoes, garlic, thyme, oregano and cat-nip then served with some herby roast potatoes and lightly boiled cabbage, washed down with a chilled pinot grigio. (I know, it should be red really, but the pinot really brings out the flavour)

If it's a fat cat then there'll probably be enough left over for the following day, and that can be served on a warm baguette with some fried onions and mushrooms and lashings of horse radish sauce.

I'm racist.

I doubt there is anyone, on the fucking planet, that could claim to have never thought a racist thought. I'm not died-in-the-wool, silent majority racist though, live and let live and all that.

We are pretty much instinctually programmed to think less of people that aren't our 'tribe' and our society pretty much depends on it. This is why we have borders, aren't too happy about uncontrolled immigration, democratically don't like Europe and carry a general sense of xenophobia. We temper it these days because civilised thought and modern society demand it, but you don't have to go to far back before it all goes to shit...

Cats are shit though, they are pretty much wild and would go back to being wild in the same generation if we all disappeared. The last house share I lived in had a cat and it would turn up it's nose at food and go and hunt small birds and other wildlife in the back garden. Little cunt killed off just about everything back there.

My neighbour `acquired` a cat. She is one of those nice enough in small doses type people ( bit slow) but her husband is a really nice bloke.
My missus used to love her flowers in a flower bed we created in my back garden. She loved pruning and weeding but that's all stopped now as it's cat shit central.
The cat even shat in our flower bed while the neighbour was talking to us one day. I was fucking seething inside as she made a `whoops naught cat` lighthearted joke out of it.
It sits on the bonnet of our car and pisses under my decking. I've stood in cat shit on my grass and noticed it in the car. I have a wooden garage and in the summer it remains closed as I dread to think how I'd react if it sprayed inside.

Years ago my ex girlfriend had a cat. It left and she found out a year later it was living in another house in another street. My pals new wife is obsessed with them and takes in strays. SHE moved in with him and turned HIS back garden into a cat sanctuary.

Cats? Fuck them.
