Yea, I am crazy. This is my review of one of the best motorcycles ever made. FYI the vision and address seem to be pretty much the same machine. But the model I own is the Suzuki Vision 110cc.

I took my motorcycle driving test on my own R1150GS (The examiner was quite surprised Razz ) I then got a 600RR and I am now driving a Suzuki Address 110cc. I seem to be doing it in reverse. Smile

I paid about £1800 for my Suzuki Address brand new.
Tax I think is £10.
Insurance about £100.
So on the road on a brand new vehicle for less than £2000.

I've had the bike about 3 months now and done about 3000 miles.
It has been flawless. Top speed I'd say 55mph but I have hit 70mph with the right conditions.
Fuel costs are very low. The tank can not get in more than £5 worth of fuel and although I haven't worked out my MPG exactly I get between 90-120MPG realisticly. But I do not drive smoothly and I almost always have the throttle pinned. Suzuki/Honda claim you can get 150mpg but I do not see it. Either way fuel costs are so low that you do not really care.

There is a caveat though. You have to be happy going slow to enjoy this bike on dual carriageways and motorways. Around town it is the fastest thing on the road but on the big roads you are slow.
90% of my driving is on a 70mph dual carriageway and I am quite happy to sit at 55mph and plod along. I know if I still had my RR I would of been tempted to pin it doing 120+ while coming home from work at 1am but I dont have that issue with this fine beast.

The only issue I have with this bike is the crappy exhaust that seems to rust very fast but I do not care. Ye it makes the bike look a little crappy but this is not a bike to buy for looks.
Servicing is extremly simple and costs peanuts. The engine is a very simple air cooled engine very little to go wrong. It even has a kick start should the starter motor fail.

I'd give this bike a solid 10/10.
Although I have gotta drive from Basildon to Hull soon so I may have some complaints after that drive. Mr. Green
But seriously, I average 10k-12k miles a year and it is doing great.

That all being said when I upgrade I will probably be getting a Honda Forza 125cc. Mainly due to it having 15bhp while still having good fuel economy and more storage. Whereas my 110cc motor has barely 9HP. But this is going to be purely just a indulgence. I feel my Suzuki Address is seriously the best bang for your buck you can get.

A Suzuki Address 110?

Im fairly bi-curious about most things bike from the last four decades, but what makes this Address twist and go more fun than say an old Honda C90?

I'd say a 100cc roadster bike like a Yamaha YB100 or a H100 would be much more fun than a new Indonesian built plastic scooter?

And if you ever got on a new Orange Austrian bike of 125cc and one with a 900mm+ seat height, then I don't think you'd see such merit in your 110cc scooter?

I should make it clear the Suzuki Address is not fun.
It does its job very well though as a workhorse/commuter.

The Honda c90 is a fantastic bike. They are getting on a bit though now. Also the new ones they released are about a grand more expensive then the Address and the extra cost is not worth it in my opinion. The C90 was a fantastic bike because it was so cheap the new one is just cashing in on that reputation while negating the selling point of the original c90.

As for it being Indonesian built ye.. but it is still a reliable well built machine.

I'm sorry to hear that perhaps you shouldn't of rid her so hard.

I get the line of thought about smaller bikes having a positive, being cheaper,so on and so on.
Hmmmm? A Suzuki Address 110 ?
Like Stevo as b4 said the Yamaha YB100 or the Honda H100 might have been a better bet.
Granted that would be second hand now.

However you’ve ridden/lived with the little Suzuki and if it floats your boat, then hats off to you Thumbs Up .
Nice to read a positive about a little bike rather than the usual ranting about how all small bikes are shit.

A good little around towner eh?
Go tour around Scotland, England, and wales and then come back and tell us if it’s any good.

At least it doesn't have the tweeny-weeny little wheels of the Chinesium scooters but other than that it doesn't look anything special.

The fact you're ragging it something fierce is nothing to boast about - hastening engine failure - and is a strong hint that you need something bigger.

125cc are designed to be ragged.

Best bike evah ! is a bit of a stretch innit?

I know a guy with a Vison 110 who Deliveroos on it.
He say it's slower than the other guys who use PCX 125s
but at least its frugal and reliable which is all you can ask
from such a thing.

he's not in love with it though

i understand where the adam277 is coming from.
I sold my grom last year to my mechanic and now almost a year later im buying it back off him as i miss that bike.

I took my GSXR 1000 to tour scotland and actually the whole time kept wishing i was on my grom!

Picking my grom back up this week and am looking forward to being slow but fast-ish again!

They do look fun.
The only issue I have with them is if I owned one I wouldn't for very long.
I live near East London so see daily people driving around on knicked bikes with hoddies and masked number plates.

The main thing I like about my scooter which I suspect is as true for the Grom is you can easily wheel it through the house.
Is there a big cc engine bike that is easy to go through the door of a house without issue?
