I currently have an old Philips electric shaver with 3 round heads and it's on its last legs.

I was considering a Braun replacement with the long, straight heads but I was wondering if anyone has experience of both types of shavers and if either is better than the other?

(yes, I know wet manual shavers are better and cheaper - I like killing polar bears with my electric stuff).

My nut sack gets the mach 3 treatment. An electric shaver would have me jizzing on the wall.

I've got two Phillips 3 head razors at present, 1 can be used wet, 1 dry.

I've had many different razors over the years and I've never found an electric razor I like more than the Phillips.

I'm surprised they let you have sharp objects on your planet?

I bought a Phillips series 3000 wet/dry last year and very happy with it
for a leccy type.
It shaves pretty good, has a decent long lasting Li-Ion battery
You can rinse it under the tap and the flip up bit is good for trimming away the bushy bits from of me ears, nose and Dennis Healy eye brows.
( I wondered where the hair on top went)

forty four quid

I've used both types and don't think there's really much difference.

I now use the Gillette Fusion wet razor - a wet shave with a vibrating head. Gives a really good shave and doesn't take any longer than a dry shave.

He has to be quite heavily sedated using opiates and bencarzibiturates before the psychiatric orderly shaves him.
The orderly is an Ex-Para (SAS Staff Sgt Maj.) out of Lytham RAF Catering Corp.

Another +1 for Philips 3 head jobber. Mine (7450 I think?) is at least 18 years old, I've changed the heads once. Battery still holds up like a champ, over a week between charges using every day.

I thought the battery would have died by now, but the only other thing that failed was the mains charger plug thing. The only bit with no moving parts.

In the time I've had that, I've had 3 beard trimmers die. They'll be shaving the cockroaches after WW3.
