Not a surprise, this was set in motion quite a while ago.. Hardly surpising either, as BMW's tiddlers are all just rebadged TVS bikes, another Indian brand.

I think you'll find I mentioned it back in 2018 ..

However, no reason they should be shitty, as, if you look at the newer Royal Enfields, decent well built machines, I can vouch my Interceptor has better build quality, and is more reliable than my Triumph ever was, oh, and definitely more corrosion resistant..

No surprise as such but it's now officially a "thing." RE? Okay so now they're churning out good bikes. I don't think I'd want to buy one of the first Triumph/Bajaj bikes off the production line, after a couple of years maybe...

Wonder if they'll do a budget triple or is that an oxymoron?

It's just a case of quality control same as everywhere.

If it's good, the bikes will be fine, if it isn't they will be third world crap. We see it often enough with China.

Either way I really don't care, there is nothing I can have any affect on on the political scale, neither now, or at point in the future, but, I'm looking forward to having my Imperiale delivered next week Smile
