Yep. We've had everything from strange taste through sore throat and coughing via sneezing, headache and fever with technicolour yawn amongst the 5 members of Che Nobby.

The chances that we've caught different favours is minimal.

How much of these are "ordinary" colds that ppl are now exposed to as they're getting out more? And are any of our previously endemic bugs close enough to Covid to show positive on a test? i.e. really you actually just have the sniffles but the stick says you have the Bad Aids Thinking

Specificity of lateral flow can be as low as 92.4% or as high as 100% depending on the brand. That means that at worst, 1 in 13 of positives is a false positive on lateral flow.

There's a definite "change in the wind" with regards to Covid stories. "Woman drives kid to Italy for jab" "Teacher locks kid in boot to drive to testing centre" and various other idiocy. Stories on France and Australia recently have not painted those countries in glory.

Turning a corner?

"For example, a PubMed search for “urine therapy” and “Covid-19” today returned zero results, which is exactly the same number of results that you get when you search for “I am a gigantic egg carton.” "

Hats off to the author for that one.

Tested positive for it, would he have happened to have the vaccine booster shortly before.
We are not told therefore, yes most likely.

The vaccine doesn't cause you to test positive. Yet more non-science .

I'm amazed that someone who couldn't spell dementia even knows what myocarditis is.

It's a quite common complication caused by virii

For two weeks after you are at increased risk.
Almost everyone 'knows someone' who tested positive very soon after getting jabbed, usually they say how lucky they were to have had it just in time Laughing

Let me help you out.

https://www.bhf.org.uk/informationsupport/conditions/myocarditis

Just in case you're too blinkered to click on the link to actual science stuff.

What causes myocarditis?
Although the cause of myocarditis is not always known (idiopathic carditis), it’s usually caused by:

a viral, bacterial or fungal infection
a chest infection
an auto immune disease (when your own immune system attacks your body).

As for folk deserving what they get - with so much irony it's best you stay away from any kind of MRI Smile

Anyone thick enough to keep making accounts and spouting the same tired bollock on a forum, that has repeatedly made him about as welcome as a reggae band at a ku klux klan rally ...

I only started posting in Politics and Current Affairs recently (as of about the last week, I think).

Think there might be a slight problem here as the arguments are all going around in circles, and it's not a useful form of discussion. It's not a good look. If someone disagrees with me about something I wrote they can say so, and I won't take it personally. I've been known to be wrong before. I had this argument with a guy in the comments section on a news website today. He kept arguing and arguing and it was going in circles. Who cares if he were right or I were right? Doesn't really matter. What would matter is if one or both of us hung around like a bad smell... I got the impression he just wasn't a happy sort of guy - he had some kind of mental health issue. That isn't rare in the world of today. I'm proud to say I knew when to draw the line and let him have the last word. No need to click refresh. It's Friday night - hope everyone's got something cool to do.
