If you're interested, look the stats up for yourself.

Just for fun* I took the numbers from here:

Deaths registered in England and Wales – 21st century mortality

And added up all the myocarditis deaths:

2001 - 55
2002 - 55
2003 - 46
2004 - 54
2005 - 50
2006 - 58
2007 - 50
2008 - 65
2009 - 57
2010 - 38
2011 - 56
2012 - 49
2013 - 50
2014 - 61
2015 - 47
2016 - 31
2017 - 43
2018 - 50
2019 - 49
2020 - 48

I can only draw one conclusion from this information.... that Saturday night TV is a bit shit at the moment Whistle

*I stuck with Excel rather than doing the sane thing which would have been to import all of it into a data table an run a query.

Here's a typical puff piece from BBC News:

Wealth of world's 10 richest men doubled in pandemic, Oxfam says

Quote:
The pandemic has made the world's wealthiest far richer but has led to more people living in poverty, according to the charity Oxfam.

And the obvious conclusion?

Danny Sriskandarajah, Oxfam GB's chief executive wrote:
Something is deeply flawed with our economic system

What Oxfam fails to mention is year on year absolute poverty has fallen dramatically. Until Covid of course when there was a slight uptick (see here: https://devinit.org/resources/poverty-trends-global-regional-and-national/)

Unfortunately every time I read an Oxfam puff piece all I can hear is Steve Hughes "...don't give money to poor people... [instead] send it to us and we'll make sure they get it."

Anti-vax protests: ‘Sovereign citizens’ fight UK Covid vaccine rollout

They call themselves, get this: Alpha Men Assemble! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Rebranding "freemen of the land" as "sovereign citizens" you could place them ideologically opposite to the likes of BLM, XR and Loft Botherers United.

Why did Bristol put the statue up in the first place if they find it offensive?

I just hope IKB isn't found to have done naughtys with some black woman or Bristol will have to demolish Clifton bridge and sink the Great Britain and sit in smug self satisfied happiness.

But Nobby will have the hugest wank if it happens.

Who cares if someone blew.their beans into a dusky maiden. I've done it more than once.

There's also a bit of a difference between a monument to a slave trader and a bridge built by someone who facilitated emigration by pioneering joined up.public transport (great Western railway and steam ships)

Bristol used to be full of manly men who sailed around on ships doing manly men type things.

Now it's full of green party voting hipsters who would quite like to live in London, but also can't afford it, so they live in Bristol which is less expensive (but still expensive). They sail around the internet in coffee shops on their macbook's in the centre and probably Gloucester road (lower end not the Airbus end).

I wonder what the demographics of all the unvaccinated NHS workers are? In the care sector the most antivax people I meet are either eastern European or African and I rather suspect it's the same in the NHS.

I'm sure the same accusation has been levelled at the people of Brighton. London's... interesting but I wouldn't want to live there!

Bristol and Brighton, very much the same concept. Brighton maybe a slightly older demographic though.

Nope. Bristol is hipster, Brighton is hipster with a penchant for the same sex. Not judging, just describing the demographic...
