Expensive little beasts aren't they. Every one on ebay is over 10 grand.

And look at this gear lever, weird angle or what?

Probably won't be Stuart Garner though, although it should be.

He comes across as being the kind of guy that knows just enough wrinkles to keep him out of the really bad shit, but I hope I'm wrong.

Quite damning but I suspect it's his word against Garners and there won't be enough to send him down for any length of time.

I hope I'm wrong. Evil or Very Mad

Someone posted a thing about Norton Factory stripping their new bike of all its body to donate to another customer bike.
The stripped bike was at the Norton factory for warranty work on the bike.

I don't even know if it's 100% legal for the directors (and fucking managers) to receive a good kicking?

I read this and find some of it hard to take at face value.
I suspect that the Spondon dude Tiller knew he had a problem with his alcoholic and aging business partner. He saw Garner as someone with a background of money who could buy his troublesome partner out and inject some cash into the business. Win win. He either didn't give a sht about his mate getting paid out half the asking price, or was complicit in the plan. Afterall, the less paid out initially by Garner, the more there is to invest in Spondon / Norton and an alcoholic business parnter kills a business almost as fast as it kills the friendship.
I doubt that he was entirely unaware of the financing going on (how else did he think it was going to work?) although at some point I reckon he realised he gotten into bed with a con merchant and that at some future point the whole lot was going to go tits up. That's when he bailed out.
To me, that seems more likely than the somewhat naive story he's putting forward. I don't believe Tiller ever intended to defraud anyone, but I can't swallow the whole pure as the driven snow story either.

I'd be interested to know why a TT legend signed up with a well known bent bugger.

Remiss of me to exclude the following:
Cameron Donald
Josh Brookes
Ian Mackman and Dan Hegarty
Steve Plater - Test rider
Mick Grant - bike development and rider management
David ‘Davo’ Johnson
Peter Hickman
Davey Todd.

Yet now the cat's out it's like everyone had known for years and years.

Yes, on the one hand he says he'd known the family for years and then the massive (alleged) fraud and his new partner's lack of moral fibre seem to all come as a massive shock.

But true: if your current business partner's an alcoholic you'd do almost anything to get out of the situation - even sign a deal with the devil Shocked

"This interview was conducted in the weeks leading up to BDO being called in to Norton as administrators. In the fullness of time, the reasons why it hasn’t been published until now will become apparent."

Intrigued by that.

Guessing maybe Steve Murray was going down legal route and didn't want to prejudice the case by having this in print beforehand.

Given the very short time between then and now. Maybe it didn't pan out.

Soon find out.

Donington Hall is a property where a company is registered that was (today) renamed "Norton MC" (not to be confused with "Norton Motorcycles", the company that's under administration). Also today, Garner resigned as the director of "Norton MC", and appointed his wife as its director.

Is his wifes company about to buy out the business assets and IP for next to nothing with all the debt left behind?
I can't see anyone having anything to do with them if that's their plan. Everything would be cash on delivery, zero credit rating. Seems like a sure way to kill off Norton for good.

Anyone remember the shower of cunts that operated the UK Heingerike franchise?
They went bust owing millions.

There was a New HG shop Glasgow, opened a few doors down the road from J&S (took the old HG premises).
The New HG Shop lasted about three months.

I wondered if the pair of diddies who opened the New Shop were Rip and Van Winkle and had been fast asleep for a year or two. 😂
I bet no fxuker bought anything.
I never went near it to find out of course.

It may be a poor attempt to dodge any upcoming fines or penalties. I don't think the classic "dump all my assets" tactic cuts much ice with the courts these days.

I notice a few of variations of "Norton Motors" created in the last couple of months at Companies House. Could just be totally unassociated speculators though.

The director's ex-director names are the same. That's the crux.

It's obvious he's taking advice - the guy has no education or qualifications.

Maybe BDO have a plan of their own and are just biding their time, but I really think BDO should be being more active in slapping down appropriations of the Norton name. The Norton brand is an intellectual property belonging to Norton Motorcycles (under administration and insolvent), and there are a LOT of people waiting to be paid, so if the brand is something that can be sold to a foreign soap-on-a-rope maker, then it should be guarded. Who's going to want to buy non-exclusive rights to the Norton name? BDO should challenge the new company's registration. It was originally Norton Motor Cars Limited, and now it's Norton MC Limited, and the director is the same guy as a company under administration (Norton Motorcycles Limited), and is likely to be struck off. Therefore his individual actions involving that company can and should be capped.

I think another problem is the property Donington Hall. Garner and his wife live there, in great opulence and in possession of all kinds of treasures, on the pretext that first Garner, and now his wife, are directors of an inactive front company that uses Donington Hall as its registered address. If and when the time comes to wind up and sell off the assets of Norton Motorcycles to pay off the creditors, the question will arise as to how sell Donington Hall. Metro Bank has a charge on it, they want their money back and it's locked up in there. It has a market value. Market value minus Metro Bank's charge with be £n. Market value minus Metro Bank's charge but without vacant possession (i.e. inhabited by a pair of squatters) would be considerably less than £n.

No idea what the game is, but sure there is some kind of planning and deceit in these recent moves, shifting assets out of the reach of BDO. Garner and wife recently had a celebratory slap up meal at Ivy Restaurant (Harrogate). BDO had better not lose sight of the ball.
