The difference here is Coronavirus is highly infectious - not a problem in itself - and 80% of ppl will just get over it like any other flu. The other 20% need medical attention. This varies between extra oxygen to full ventilator. If you keep on top of the numbers the medical teams can cope with keeping the death rate to less than traditional flu numbers. If it gets out of hand too quickly (e.g. Italy, Iran) then healthcare services are overwhelmed and you get Spanish Flu rates, i.e. 20% mortality.

This is only just getting going in Europe. Give it time, the fatality figures have almost doubled in the last week alone.
You really think governments all over the world are shutting down and letting their stock markets crash, just to create fake news?
I have to say I'm getting a bit suspicious over the origin of this virus though. It originated in the wild in the same area that China has it's biological weapons research centre. The doctor who discovered it in the wild was hushed up by the Chinese government at first, then all of a sudden China started building 10 hospitals a day.
Ask yourself why China had hundreds of pre-fabricated hospitals built and ready to bolt together. How did they know this was going to happen?
People who have researched the virus have now discovered that it dies in open air when the temperature reaches 26 degres C, which conveniently China is due to reach in the next week or so. Meanwhile, much of the West is month's off getting close to this.
China is already over the worst of this, just as the West especially Europe is going into weeks or even months of crippling pandemic, damaging manufacturing and benefits. This handy little virus will position China higher up in world power.
Would they do this deliberately to boost their world power? Biological weapons can be used to win trade and world power, without being used in a war.
Tin foil hats at the ready.

Which bit? There are conspiracy theories all over the Internet, but there's no denying that Wuhan has a bio viral research centre which has had previous leaks, or that the doctor who discovered it was told to shut up by the Chinese police. There is also no doubt that China already had prefab hospitals ready and waiting to bolt together, such as the 10 day build for a 1,000 patient hospital in Wuhan. Why did they have these prefab hospitals ready and waiting to deploy? What did they know that we didn't?

Either the UK figures are way out of date, or our approach has worked far better than other major European countries, as we have way, way less infections and fatalities so far.
Germany has really kicked off over the last couple of days, as has Spain and France.

I see Italy, with a population of 60,000,000, almost 25 times smaller than China, is now nearly overtaking China, with it's population of 1,400,000,000 in official death figures.
Either Italy have approached this the wrong way or China was suspiciously over prepared for this China virus.
It's almost as if they had already prepared for it with the thousands of prefab hospital units, staff and equipment all sitting there, ready to deploy in 10 days to operational.

Christ I bet your conspiracy tin hat theories must be going off the scale right now, what with Barnier now diagnosed with it, what will this mean for brexit transition period negotiations? Still think it originated in a chinese lab, and, not a german one?

Do I think this is man made and China will greatly benefit from this financially and globally in economic power?
Hell yes, do you not then?

Do you realise that in a bio weapons attack, all countries suffer it, you just win by making sure you're best prepared, fore warned and get over it before everyone else on the planet?
China are almost shut of this now and factories are ramping up back to normal capacity, at a time where someone is feeding propaganda of martial law in the UK and the whole of the West is entering a severe outbreak to dwarf the one China had.
Feel free to keep telling yourself this is all just sheer co-incidence and not a bio weapons attack to increase China China China as the new World Order super power.

Once they've allowed it to travel to Europe, with it's open borders, the job was done. China China China just has to then use all the means they had prepared in advance, to get their economy back on track as the West was failing. I don't think it was specifically targeted as a country.
Italy may be seriously bad as it has an ageing population, plus this virus, even though it dies above 27 degrees C in the open air, is quite tolerant to cold.
It was the middle of Italy's skiing holiday season wasn't it? Isn't this the region? Cold outside, everyone huddling up indoors, tourists galore spreading it back to their home countries, 27% and by far the largest proportion of which are British.
