Greetings all,

Bought myself a bit of a bargain dynojet kit for my 97 srad 750 the other day, was only missing the drill bit for the slides.

No problem I thought, itl prob list the size in the instructions I thought, WRONG!

All that's listed is Slide Drill DD#49, what the feck is that suppose to mean, if anyone is incredible enough to know what size that is, or has a jet kit with that drill bit in it, my god I'd be amazed.

Anyone help solve the mystery?

tried searching online for some sort of conversion but had no luck i think the only way you're going to find out is if some kind person on a suzuki forum has the drill in their kit and they can measure it for you, guess they don't want any one knowing what size there secret drill bit is otherwise it would make them redundant.

I've edited my post to include a link to a different conversion chart that may be easier to understand.

1.8542mm

(Folwers rs) If you're in Bristol, Tim Blakemore carrries a full set, he enlarged one of mine when an in between size didn't exist to correct the fuelling.

Ideally the original jet number should be obliterated once altered to avoid any possible chance of confusion at a later date (by a third party).

I get the logic in this, my only question is. Are we 100% sure that dynojet when listing #49 are referring to the tap drill size?

To be fair it's a good shout, but I need to be 100% before I drill them!

I guess one way to be sure is, my mate has a fireblade kit which has #44 drill but in it, if I measure that with a set of digital verniers it should be 2.18mm correct?

^yep sounds logical Thumbs Up

to be doubly sure you could ask on a few forums for people to measure their slide drills

Ooops, went off on a tangent, the drills for enlarging brass jets are more akin to a minature reamer that's twisted between thumb and finger - definately not suitable for this application.

Several No.49 drill stockists listed on ebay,
starting at £1.21 inc delivery.

What's the slide hole size normally? My zxr400 DJ kit came with a 3.1mm drill bit, think it's coded #31
