Right handed, clockwise.

Clockwise mostly, sometimes I throw in an anticlockwise for additional through-bag flow.

Good squeeze at the end too.

Yorkshire Tea, obviously.

Your poll lacks 'both' - what about us folks that have no favoured clock movement?

Clockwise... but not in Australia Wink

I wonder if right-handed ppl are mostly clockwise and lefties anti-clockwise Thinking

What happens if you swirl it left, right, then side to side?*

Clockwise.
Left hand.
(Same for coffee.)
Even if I make the cuppa for someone else.

Would anyone be offended or otherwise upset by tea being stirred incorrectly?

Oh, For the record, I ALWAYS squeeze my bag. 👍

Due to the Corola effect Australians drink tea from the other side.

And it there is a lot more 'mechanical advantage' if stirring clockwise using the left hand. (And visa-versa).

Anti-clockwise, with the concave side of the spoon facing the direction of travel. I'm a righty. Clockwise sounds weird.

Stir? Dunk the bag a few times and leave it in the cup. Tea should be strong enough that you can stand your spoon in it, same goes for coffee. No spoons, no sugar, no milk.

Clockwise in coffee, in tea it's more of a "vibrospoon" action to agitate the bag.

I don't know the mechanics of making a cup of tea, that's Mrs Bastard's province.

My involvement is limited to admonishing her when she doesn't provide a fresh one on a timely basis.

Why is anyone stirring coffee?
If it's instant, boiling water disolves it.... instantly.
If it's filter, then you just pour it.

Tea bag in a mug gets dunked a few times, given half a minute, re-dunked, squeezed and out.

Neither need sugar.

Work brew:

1 china mug.
1 yorkshire teabag.
1 flask of boiled water.
1 mini flask of milk.

Hold corner of bag against outside of mug and pour in water(failure results in use of twig or pencil to retrieve bag) Dunk teabag the amount of times you would like to hit a politician.

Corner of bag will have absorbed 'Yorkshire Goodness' (the oxymoron effect) enabling it to be folded over the rim. Splash of milk - one or two circuits of the mug with the teabag then still holding the corner use your cleanest appendage to squeeze out the 'Goodness'.

You now have a perfect mug (bone china natch) of tea in one hand and a bag of destiny in the other.

Choose wisely how the bag of destiny finds its resting place.
*A distance of upto 20ft is considered to be a POP (Piece of Piss).

You can make the tea first, then put it in the flask to keep it hot, and it's easier. Don't put milk in the flask too, or it will start to taste funny after a while. Carry it seperately as you already do!
