This is the left right divide.

If you work for a living trying your best to raise a family and do a bit to support your society then vote Labour.

If you're an upper class twit born with a silver spoon up your arsehole and don't give two shites for anyone apart from Yours Truly then the Conservative is your best option. (Tory Wannabees can vote for the cunts too)

I don't know that there can ever be any middle ground.

Martial Law/Dictatorship is the best one could expect as a no nonsense equal rights policy. 😂

It must be nice living in the past Laughing Did you actually see the results of the last election?
I'm not entirely certain wtf Labour represent nowadays. Seems they don't know themselves*, but I think Easy is right - they've got themselves caught up in the poison of social media. Thankfully, ime at least, that doesn't really represent the real world...yet.

*I think that they now represent the wackier students and the LGBQTABCXYZWTFLOL 'community' (double lol!). Well fine. If you want to live in a world that's like an unsupervised school playground, vote for that bollocks. Then you can help to make social media come to life, and good luck to you after that!

In fact, if I met Bill Gates or one of these other social media moguls, I'd ask them if they want what they host to become the real world. If so, I'm backing Elon Musk's mission to Mars, and I'll be volunteering for it Laughing

The Greens?! Like they represent the working class and disadvantaged!

No, it's enough for me for the traditional parties to pay some attention to green issues. How about a good ol' ordinary left-of-centre Labour Party, with a leaning towards alleviating poverty and hardship?

Oh ok. I'll get me coat... Rolling Eyes

And migrants.

I haven't quite worked out why but migrants, preferably illegal ones, are much higher on their radar than the 'northern working vote'.

Go into MK council offices and just about every desk has a Migrants Welcome flag on it which is rather bizarre when the big topic of conversation is the lack of social housing in the city.

It strikes me that it's actually the Twitter portrayal of Labour that places them somewhat left from Mao. Nothing like this in their actual manifesto (which was mainly about decent income & services).

The previous election (May's one) I'd give you that: it all sounded perfectly reasonable stuff - I did actually read it. But this last time they basically handed parliament to Boris on a silver platter Sad

One would hope that, given Labour and the Lesbian Undemocrats have gone totally swivel-eyed bat shit crazy, all the reasonable left-leaning, slightly libertarian, constitutional socialists might get together and form a new party devoid of idiocy and based on values of real (not lipservice) tolerance, sympathy and, most importantly, redemption...

Call me an old romantic!

But that's the point, Labour doesn't represent those people anymore. It represents the same sort of people that vote Green. The people you are talking about are now represented by Boris and the Conservatives.

Rural Scotland will be asset stripped to the bone post independence. Those smackheads and alcos in Glasgow are going to need to get money from somewhere once they turn off the tap from England. IMO any vote should be on a county by county basis.

Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say they're represented by the Tories. They just didn't have another realistic option. Time will tell if they're going to be repaid. And that's all we can do at the moment isn't it? Wait and see.

Pleased to see that at present at least, Boris seems to be sticking to his guns over the EU's childish demands.

A New Party is not the answer.

Fix the existing party.

New Labour killed off Labour.

They lost direction chasing votes.

The Cuntry was on its last legs due to Tory austerity.
The bastarts had sold off all of the assets British TAX payers owned to private interests. (Aye ok they were sold off via the British public but they were easily paid off with the first dividends on shares.)
Look at it now?
British companies that were bankrupt are now pouring billions into foreign pockets.
They didn't need sold off, they really needed managed properly.
People do not know why nationalisation was necessary in the first place.
It was to bale out busted private companies that couldn't manage their business.
British TAX payers paid those bastarts off before.

Labour has a bee in it's bonnet about social justice, not much else.

One of the first things I heard from them after the election defeat was 'we didn't have enough blacks in the shadow cabinet'. (probably was actually people of colour Rolling Eyes )

Then we got from one of the potential leaders that 'People of colour (tm. PC wankers) must have dreaded the referendum result'.

Things that really only matter to a small minority.

Someone said it looks like Labour would be happier being a protest group than a political party. They aren't far wrong.

How do I begin to explain in one thread on a motorcycle forum?

Without splitting hairs.

Of cracking a few skulls open.

I was going to say they need a charismatic leader who's really in touch with the general populous but then this image popped into my head:

Can't you give a brief outline? You do have the answers, don't you? I'm quite relaxed about it all, because I'm expecting you to solve everything soon Smile

Don't worry. Everyone else knows all the answers too, so you'll have some help Thumbs Up

We are about to lose the person who had all the answers.

Or people are too thick to know it.

I could cut an paste a lot of stuff to help.

A bit LOL to associate the Tory's with the IRA.
Look at Thatcher's response to the Bobby Sands martyrdom, or the Brighton bombing of the Tory conference in 1984 (I noticed the bomber was freed in the GFA).

Not like their leader was hanging around with Gerry Adams Thumbs Up
