ive had a look on google, to no avail. it looks like you could go up quite a few teeth on the front. it has a rather strange spline fitting, which ive never come across before. any help would be appreciated.

But why would you want to? Unless your bike will readily pull top revs in top gear* , there is little to be gained by gearing it up. If no front sprockets are available , you can alter the gearing by altering the back sprocket , but again there is often very little to be gained if the gearing was originally optimised by the manufacturer ( unless *) , you may well end up with a bike which has 4 usable gears instead of 5.

TBH the sprocket looks just like my DRZ250 sprocket.......

Looks like you will have to go to a custom sprocket maker if there is nothing available off the shelf .

Hi,
Pretty sure it won't be a sprocket that only fits the ksr so why not just measure the original sprocket & spend some time browsing the online catalogue of jt sprockets? (seeing as they make oem sprockets for 90% of bikes)

Cheers,
GAZ

As a general rule, I find most bikes won't pull more than one more tooth on the front because they either run out of puff in top or the ability to do hill starts in 1st. Unless that is, it's combined with significant tuning.

I went up 4 teeth from standard on my big enfield project, but I also went up 250% in horsepower and to be fair, I suspect it could have stood one less tooth. Mostly because of the pesky speed squared rule.

I bet if you go up that many teeth on the front the bike will actually be a lot slower and still have worse acceleration than when you started.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

As above
Its a 125 it'll be a waste of time, u need powah not sprockets.

If you really must
it has a Suzuki GS125 clone engine so look there for more fasterer sprockets
