Tourer? ha ha ha! yeah right, tourer.
cheap hack? not hardly, not for 9 grand it aint

The mutilated and compromised rear end makes it of questionable long term safety.
( IMO not fit for purpose)
All the gadgets don't really offer any significant improvements
although I'll allow beefier front forks on a CX is OK

So what it good for ?
Posing is all that comes to mind
Its a monument to vapid, superficial stupidity and how to waste money then encourage/trick others to do the same

If you look the seller other listings they're asking £100,000 for
a pair of numberplates FFS !!

It's not something I'd get, but it's hardly the worst example of a bike on ebay. Definitely a Starbucks Poser™ though.

I know next to nothing about bike geometry but just looking ta that makes me worried. Plus 50 quid chinko shocks - sheer cuntery.

DO NOT look at the geometry you philistine !!
Look at the lovely shinefullness and how they've improved on Hondas
pitiful effort.
Note how the original wheel hugging front mudguard cruelly robbed it of powah and the new/smaller one lets it breathe so you can ride
like the wind!

It'll handle like an oil tanker now obviously, why make a drag bike out of a bike that was never about the power anyway? But it has to be said, that exhaust is a hell of a thing. Dunno what the gas flow is like but some serious effort must have gone into making that.

I always wanted on. But not that one. What sort of madman tries to put all six pipes on one side of the bike...

I suppose it follows the style of some of the 4-cylinder Honda engines of that era.

They presumably took off a perfectly good set of comstar wheels and relaced them with... well, whatever those are. I could understand if you wanted to go with wire wheels for a more retro look.

I think it's a Buell front end with early Buell wheels?

Have they done something to the frame or is that purely down to short front legs?

And short shocks too I reckon. It would be comparatively easy to turn it back to stock.

Yeah, looks like a standard swingarm too, I wondered if they'd lengthened it but then thought they clearly have some welding skills and you wouldn't have lengthened that box swinger without adding some bracing while you were at it.

Look at the wheel and mudguard. Swingarm is longer.

It does look like that. The gap between the wheel and the pivot point looks much larger.

Edit to add - That is not a standard CBX swing arm

I reckon they lengthened the swinging arm to make it
look drag bikey suggestive of awesome powah!
plus other shit which they assume is cool.

It just looks wrong to me
plus, six K&N'd carbs with a 6- into1 exhaust
and no mention of any balancing done or attempted
the checker plate speedo mount looks naff and cheap

There are a lot of people who like metalwork more than they like riding bikes.
I note the machined custom top yoke, and lack of speedo.

^OMG man.

That is a crime. On one of the proper classic ones, too (drum brake rear)...

Grinding off the manufacturer's name from the engine is a new one. Not seen that before.

The one in the second pic is also ill-judged, IMO.

Nevertheless, you have to admire the ingenious cable routing..
