The overspray on the rear tyre is just the icing on the cake. I like the way there was apparently a bottle of whiskey in between painting the front and rear wheels.

No probably about it; even the owner admits your spuds would be dust if you did so much as 50 miles on it.

Having seen quite a lot of this sort of stuff on 'murican 'Tube channels I'd have to say the frame looks pretty good. I just hate everything else!

Actually I think that's an interesting curiosity and not the usual miserable shite-arsed, bobtastic, CG125 abomination you normally get in that price range.

Welding looks good, although the front end appears (cough 'unwieldy'). I don't want to own it, but if it was parked up I'd want to look at it and not kick it over like so many others.

It has had a lot of competent work and money put into it. For example, the entire frame, with all that work around the headstock to make the girder/springer fit, and the neat pipe bends and welds. Plus the metalwork on the tank. It's all competent metalwork. However, it should, by rights, be destroyed. If it was made as a movie prop, that's all well and good. However, that thing was a product of someone's credit/debit card and bike meet culture. Someone who didn't want to ride - just wanted attention for the sake of it, and was REALLY willing to pay. I could be wrong and it might have been a demonstrator for a custom builder's shop, as the seller claims. Who knows. But people do build and own bikes like these, and many of them just can't seem to understand how to slip between the cracks. They always need attention and approval. You can do what you like as long as you're discreet. Making noise for the sake of it will do nothing but close the few loopholes that remain for classic bikes.

Pretty much a perfect description of that engine... why the hell that's the one bit of an MZ you'd keep for your custom, is beyond me.

It's not a bad job but just why an MZ engine? That's like sticking a Trabant engine in a custom car.

Yes, frame work good but the execution of the rest of the "furniture" leaves something to be desired.

I didn't like it from a distance.

When I look at it closely, I wouldn't trust it to work properly,

Then I checked the horsepower... 25 .......

Why all effort for the frame, with performance like that ?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Royal-Enfield-CUSTOM-Bullet/303663283290

£7750 Shocked

Electrical tape over the headlight - check
£30 Chinese shocks* - check
Cracked, illegal "stop me officer" number plate - check
Darkest, smallest rear indicators and light you can find - check
Wrong paint painted directly onto the exhaust, and flaking away already - check

Oh yeah - I see the obvious value in that. Plus, this was "customised professionally by Royal Enfield of London", who commissioned those shocks from China and commissioned that pound shop electrical tape for the headlight.

The bike has only 390 miles on it, and that's because of those shocks.

* These are as stiff as struts, so they turn the bike into a secret hardtail

Customised professionally by Royal Enfield of London? Confused

I do like the clocks, mind you.

Ironically, its the clocks which spoil it for me,

Any bike attempting to look "aged" shouldn't, under any circumstances, have a digital clock assembly....
