So a foot's probably been cut off the original hoop which also wouldn't have had a plate tacked to the bottom. Might be shorter rear shocks too

A brown seat might work if it suits the colour scheme and age/style of the bike. TBH even manufacturers are sucked into this trap as evidenced by my own XSR
