At least its cheao.and was clearly designed to be unusable from the start. It's more sculpture than bike.

Does it come with a box of matches so that you can put the poor thing out of it's misery?

This is fookin genius
I believe the technical term is
'Poor road condition automatic slower downer'
Hit a bump and the rear wheel contacts the hoop to
degrade velocity before you can even think of putting the brakes on
Brilliant!!!!
Innit marvellous what they think up nowadays eh?

All it needs now is some Comstars

Since I am weeb asf I know the middle character is the "I" syllable in hiragana. The first kanji is shiro (white). The last kanji is yuki (snow).

Lol I noticed that. I would also estimate that that was the 'oh fcuk it' moment..
Having 'fabricated' the hoop with the wheel off then slotting the wheel in.. threw spanners on the ground and stomped off, about 5 years ago.

For perspective the original might have looked like this:

https://www.motorcyclespecs.co.za/Gallery%20C/Suzuki%20GS550E%2079.jpg

So a foot's probably been cut off the original hoop which also wouldn't have had a plate tacked to the bottom. Might be shorter rear shocks too Thinking

I don't know why, but that's funny.

That bike is as un-Ashford as imaginable. He may live in rainy, grey, suburban Ashford, but that's, like, only his body, man. Like all customised bikes, it probably only really looks nice to whomever customised it. It's eccentric, but it's an optimistic type of eccentricity at least.

That's suburbia: all smiles, suit & tie, walk the dog, etc. in the daytime and at night it's all leather gear and basement S&M sessions Smile

They're hipster magnets and useful as hipster detectors too. Along with brown grips, wrapped exhausts, lack of mudguards, and idiotic chunky square tyres front and rear.

A brown seat might work if it suits the colour scheme and age/style of the bike. TBH even manufacturers are sucked into this trap as evidenced by my own XSR Sad

If it's OEM then that's another matter and it might suit the style.

On the other hand if it's OEM and they're trying to attract hipsters then they're wankers as well. Razz Laughing
