Yeah, I heard that one. I did laugh
Mind you, if all muslims refused to have it, I very much doubt you'd get rid of them all with this virus. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

Tbh, although it'll most likely turn out to be fine, I'd still prefer to wait before having to have the vax. Just seems sensible to me, given that some vaccines have had unwanted side effects in the past. I'd be less concerned if I wasn't without a spleen, but with the proper reassurance i suppose... |
The UK has vaccinated nearly 18 million, starting with the most vulnerable. I think you’d have heard by now if there were serious side effects. Get on with it, man!
|
What do you know about the spleen, its functions, and the vulnerabilities of those who have had it removed, particularly where viruses and vaccines are concerned? I know very little, and I'm in that category. In fact, last I heard, the spleen and its functions were still little understood generally. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

I don't know because I don't know enough about the spleen. But what is the state of knowledge about the Covid vaccines and the spleen?
I'll tell you this: if I finally get around to having it, I won't be relying on your knowledge to inform me, but will seek reassurance from trained medical professionals from the necessary field of expertise. Does that sound silly to you? ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

Most of the adverse effects are a result of an excessive or unwanted immune response. Your lack of a spleen means you are less likely to mount an effective immune response. |
Do you understand the physiology of this? ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

Here's some more on infertility though, look who's worried.
"The former vice president of Pfizer and chief scientist for allergy and respiratory disease Dr Mike Yeadon along with German parliamentarian and lung specialist Dr Wolfgang Wodarg have filed an urgent application to the European Medicines Agency calling for an immediate suspension of all SARS-Cov2 vaccine studies, particularly the one linked to BioNTech/Pfizer which was given the green light by the National Health Service in the United Kingdom as the first country in Europe to roll out the vaccine."
Dr Mike Yeadon claims that this new Coronavirus vaccine contains a spike protein called syncytin-1 that is vital for the formation of human placenta in women. Dr Yeadon and Dr Wodarg allege that if the vaccine forms an immune response against syncytin-1, the body will be instructed to attack syncytin-1 which could theoretically lead to a period of infertility in women for an unspecified period.

Oh yes, Matthew Bell qualified in rural resource management. |

How disingenious of you to ignore "The former vice president of Pfizer and chief scientist for allergy and respiratory disease Dr Mike Yeadon, who appears to be eminently qualified to comment. |
