Ok so I’m having serious troubles making a new wiring loom for my fa50 1985.

I’ve read somewhere that the Australian model in fact has no cdi & has some sort of special coil, I don’t quite understand but I believe I have this model. I reverse engineered the existing wiring loom & have got the bike running & battery charging, how ever the complications start when I begin to try get the lights to function properly.

I’ve spent so long mucking around trying to get it all to Functional with limited luck. I understand How it all works in essence but I’m finding my self quite overwhelmed when it comes to making sense of it all as a whole. If I draw up a schematic of what’s happening with the wiring for the ignition would some one mid filling in the blanks to get the lights to function properly.

I’ve tested all of my switches & they are all in fine working order so I’m just totally confused as to what I’m doing wrong!
