Hi I have the engine check ligt on, any way to reset it? Bike was ok when I last used it in sept last year, just got it out to day. I spend a couple of days recharging the battery, bike didnt start on the first charge, but did in the 2nd. I'm guessing either the low charged battery tripped the light or something else? Rode the bike for an hour no problems, water level is fine also engine oil.

I don't know specifically that model but the Triumphs I have had have to go through 5 heat cycles (stop to normal operating temp) to reset the engine light after being subject to a flat battery.

If it's riding OK, just keep riding it and everything will reset. I fit doesn't you will need a code reader but I'm sure if you had no previous problems it's just because your battery was flat.

I downloaded the freeware some years ago onto my laptop and bought a OBD to usb cable. Total ecu access, diagnostics, testing, mapping, reseting etc.
Looks like they've changed it to a paid app and the windows version is now unsupported.

From what I recall, you can reset engine lights with 3 heat cycles (could be 5 as per SW above) - start engine and leave it running until the fan kicks in and then off. Switch off engine and then repeat. Do not apply any throttle or other input during the heat cycle.
