Maybe that's where they got the idea.

I'm seriously considering working from home in the near future.
I'll see how this week goes at work...
They're sending a taxi for me tomorrow. I had originally planned to book it for a week at a time ... but I think I'll have to take it on a day by day basis.

Nope, no working from home for us...we're still out visiting some patients and doing phone call rehab with others. Although we are getting 'ready to step into the acute' and help out where we can.

However, I can't imagine what use I'd be in hospital, as I'm clinical not medically skilled. Perhaps escorting people to use the facilities and tea making? We will see. Shocked

Well now, it turns out we've been relieved of duty until further notice.
I want to make it clear, unless its a nice sunny dry day and you happen to own a motorcycle, you should stay inside and isolate.

I've decided to stop at home, no idea if I get paid yet but with my missus being very at risk I decided I could no longer risk the roulette of jumping into 5 or 6 customers cars a day, boss thinks he can just carry on as normal taking no precautions not even a hand sanitizer in sight. The older generation seen to just think it's all something that wont effect them Sad

So in these modern times that could mean selling worn underwear to King29 and the internet as well as findomming internet people?

Don't really get to work from home, part time work is retail and full time is delivery, though it is much quieter out there so it's nice.

One thing making the job harder, is how people are still queuing for an hour to get into supermarkets, especially when they are only putting 2 or 3 items into a basket.
Problem is, when you're out doing deliveries most of the day, you neither want to or have time to join the line.

Cannot wait for normality to creep back, but it looks as though it will take a while.

This is sadly is me, I have been queuing to get into the supermarket, only to find ther's no gluten AND egg free bread, there's no gluten free fish fingers, there's no sugar-free crunchy peanut butter, nor free from pizza bases, there's no frozen fine beans, there's no free from mature cheddar cheese. Only that Violife stuff that is made with yacky coconut oil. Sick

Thing is, in the olden days - the next day I might pass Tesco, so I'd pop in there and see if I could get the missing items. Now I have to make a choice. Tonight I chose Asda, and it was the wrong choice because they were out of stock on the things I went in for. So yeah, tonight I came out with two or three items in my basket. Believe me if I had proper choice I'd have had a bag bursting full. I dislike shopping as it is.

Nah.
Everybody's doing that, now.

I almost never do "what everybody else is doing", out of principle, anyway.
