Hi, don't know if this has been discussed already but I just watched one of the first episodes where James Whitham stacks a triumph 600. Looked like he was hammering it but he said he didnt think he was going very fast. Is this because he has far better skills than the bike was prepared to handle (being a superbike rider) or just because he was going too quick. Either way, as a novice being taught how to go fast around a track on the same bike, how would you have felt watching a pro lose it?? Confused

He reckoned it was because he was at Maximum lean at mid-corner...I'd take his word for it.

If he was teaching me - I'd be bricking it when I went round. If someone that much better then me comes off then my chances would be much, much higher. Sad

That said, he was FLYING round the bend at real speed. Twisted Evil

I saw that, he was flying though.
It would make you a little cautious however, none of the guys are likely to be ridding the big on the 'edge' like he was.
Plus, I think he was showing off a little, giving an example of how far you can (or not!) push it.
