Can anyone recommend a shed/garage alarm
Mains or battery as it's for my garage which has power and is connected to the house
I've found several on Amazon with battery powered sensors and a mains powered siren but so much choice I thought I would ask you lot Very Happy

Are you within internet range in your garage?

If you are then I can recommend this......

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07S9Y85H6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It links via wifi to your phone so lets you know if any sensor is activated. I have it on my boat and it seems to work fine, no spurious alarms etc. You can turn it on and off either with the fob or remotely from your phone.

The actual audible alarm isn't very loud but it serves the purpose. It's the warning you get on your phone thats most useful anyway.

There's no camera in the kit but for £45 you can get one to add on.

Baby monitors are quite effective assuming you are in the house. Shouldn't be any noise or movement in your shed when you're not there.

cheers for the replies guys
It has occurred to me that I have a Hive hub for my heating and I have a couple of bulbs but the sensors are quite expensive at £30 a go for the door/window sensors and the same for the motion sensors plus they don't have any form of siren and i don't tend to take my phone upstairs but may start Confused

That one I pointed to only needs an internet connection to transmit to your phone wherever it is.

It will tell me when pikey cvnt needs killing from many miles away. Thumbs Up

Took all of 10 minutes to set up

Thanks Thumbs Up

You might have some blood to clear up if you do get any intruders, but it's a small price to pay. Razz

I have Hue bulbs and Alexas

I put a motion detector in the garage so when it is triggered it flashed all the house lights then leaves them on full and Alexa says "Motion detected in the garage".
