Here is one for you. Today is a very special mothers day.........It's mothers day quarantine edition!

how did you cope on this very special day.

I brought my mother a box of chocolates and a card.....that I cannot give to her, unless it is put in a special box labelled 'biohazard'.....and then left on the door step as I run off and hope that it is not contaminated.

Mothers Day in NZ is a different date entirely.

I always optimistically buy her a card in March, meaning to send it in May, but usually she pisses me off so much that I decide not to bother.

Nothing.
My mother hasn't spoken a civil word to me pretty much since my birth. I've been constantly blamed for being born and ruining her life. She's even blocked me on facebook (before I even realised she was on fb). Nevermind. I've survived fairly well without her.
