I'd already bought my annual huge bag of Lidl rice before the virus appeared.
I'd like more flour but it's sold out... Haven't checked the chipatti flour in the world foods section yet though "note to self..."
Pasta/egg noodle is a good idea because it's first class protein. Or resort to rice and pea.
Usually have some UHT milk in. Hate the stuff for eating but it stores well and I can make yoghurt, paneer and suchlike with it.
Frozen peas, frozen fish.
Cash. Just in case there is a Cyprus-style raid on the banks. Got a mate who works in the precious metals industry. He's absolutely flat-out busy. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

I'm just out on my daily exercise walk so I'll walk to Tesco and get a few more beers in. ____________________ Currently enjoying products from Ford, Mazda and Yamaha

mmm, not sure I'd like to smell your fingers !! Unless of course, you usually drop the kids off at work !!
Aside from that, I'm stockpiling nothing, there's plenty available in the shops, perhaps not necessarily the usual brands, but, all the same, it's really not that bad, well, once the stockpiling morons have finished their daily scrum .. ____________________ Beware what photos you upload, or link to on here, especially if you have family members on them |

I don't have enough space to stockpile, but I do however, have a fine selection of clanger-safe crackers - because there was no gluten-free bread anywhere in my vicinity when I went out shopping last time.
I am can happily survive on thai based curry, miso and tom yum based soups and crackers. Its not as if I am using that many calories at the moment - input vs output and all that.
I did have a stack of 'snacks / treats' because my holiday got cancelled, so I splashed out a little...but being confined to the house, the bleeders keep calling me from the kitchen 'come and eat me, you know you want to' and my usual willpower has completely deserted me. So I basically have no snacks. The plan was to make some flapjack, however there was no porridge oats in stock when I last went shopping and porridge for brekkie wins over porridge oats for flapjack...so no flapjacks to fill the snack void. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

Hmmm. I think this statement needs a lot of qualifying. Pasta certainly isn't my go-to choice as a protein source. ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017
