YBR125 Not Starting - Advice Please

Hi,
a few weeks ago my YBR125 2007 fuel injected model ,it would not start,the ignition light would come on,electric start would turn the starter fine,but engine would not fire.
I ended up starting her by pushing her and eventually i was away.
I thought it might be due to an old spark plug so i fitted a new one the other week,but today it refuses to start up and turnover.

The battery should be fine as i regularly use the bike and it keeps on turning the starter fine.
Obviously the bike has fuel.
I am going to check wether spark is ok by removing the plug and touching it to side of engine but i suspect that is ok.
i have also checked the side stand switch and that is not fouled either.

I even rode her down a steep hill and she fired up for a few seconds only to die when stationary.

can anyone give me futher tips on what to check-thank you

The battery might turn the starter. But not enough to get it running.
Kick start ?
Bump start and you are away, does that mean all is well then it cuts out ?
Cuts out after starting would indicate to me, and my YBR that it might be a battery issue. Had a very similar issue before I got my trickle charger.
Depends on how much it is run, mines needs to be kept on trickle charger if not being used for 3 or more days.
And that is with a good battery.

Figured out what it is....
I put a wet towel draped over the tank then after 30 mins/hr fuel pump primes fine,bike starts and everythings ok.
Found this out by googling it and seems a problem pump when the weather becomes hot,weather its expansion of fuel or the pump itself i don't know but i've taken the base plate out of the bottom of the tank and pulled out the float and fuel pump assembly.

The fuel pump has the part no's:

hyundai
1100-00780-B
2527
07011010

i've seen the following pump below which has been recommended before by other users:

Was this not a fault that was repaired under warranty not so long ago on newer bikes?, I never had that problem on my 07 YBR in 15k.

i'm not sure from what i've read online the newer bikes '10 onwards had this fault rectified,if you google YBR125 not starting issues there's stacks of people with same heat related problems.
It's odd how i've never had a problem with it before thou as i've owned it 4 years and i'm sure i've rode it in hot weather before..perhaps it's just very hot temp wise now.

I wouldn't buy another pump if its working ok now, we don't get that many scorching days, hang fire see how it goes.

Fuel pump was still playing up and not turning on when bike was left out on a hot day and not in the shade so I replaced with an after market one from Ebay and now all is well even after leaving her all day in the sun.

There are lots of new aftermarket pumps on ebay for £20 ish
but at the age of the bike I'm wondering about the state of the
internal fuel filter.
I'd probably go for the kit which includes new fittings and filters
rather than just the pump

Not a ybr owner so cant speak from experience
but ethanol 85 proof and good guarantee and feedback may help
choose a seller
Fowlers will flog you a pukka one but it will probably be spendy

how does £261 suit you?
