After trying without success to measure parastic current draw from my bike's battery, I've discovered that the fuse in my multimeter has blown. Now I know bugger all about these things but I can see it's glass, 250V/200mA and 20mm long. Looking on eBay for a replacement I can apparently see the one criterion which I don't know is 'fast blow' or 'slow blow' Embarassed ... which one do I need please, BCF?

Personally I prefer a combination of the two whilst my balls are being gently tugged.

As I suspect you just found out. Do not turn the ignition on if the ammeter is connected in the milliamp setting. On some bikes the fan or fuel pump can cycle with the ignition off, this could also pop the fuse if it happens when the meter is connected.
