I hadn't heard of this until now. Apparently Musk has put 360 of these into orbit already with another 12,000 to go, maybe up to 42,000.

They're for satellite based Internet and can be seen as long trains of satellites in the night sky at dusk, with 60 at a time going past in a row or "train". They start at lower orbit and will gradually get higher.

Where does Musk get all the money from to build all these rockets and space projects? It can't just be from Tesla. Do governments or private firms finance his projects?

It must be a bloody nightmare launching anything into space with all the shite orbiting the Earth now.

There are still a lot of folk who seldom look out from under their rock it seems.

They're adding a new star sign called "Acne".

Does anyone on here believe in Astrology?

I'm trying to be more tolerant of other people's beliefs after objecting when a friend went and blew good money on a fortune teller claiming said teller was 'insightful' for 'knowing she had recently lost someone, on a journey, etc. etc..'

It's just that when you look at your stars it never says "Taurus - today you will die". It waffles on about today being a good day for making new plans, or some bollocks that anyone can make applicable to them.

I'd love to hear a counter-argument.

Arguably, back in the day the day you were born would mean the foods available whilst you were developing in the womb would be very seasonally dependant. Potentially, this could affect your development (a number of mental conditions are suspected to be due to environmental in basis) and thus your personality traits could depend on this.

These days, with the modern high level of nutrition (even if you eat mucky d's every day) its just bollocks.

Which would be for 9 months, i.e 3/4 of a year of 3 of the 4 seasons anyway.

Half the year would be gatherer half the year hunter. It could make a big difference, especially if your subsistence diet was rabbit. I didn't say its gospel, just a reason why it could have been relevant 2000 years ago but bollocks now.

It's still bollo is these days.

Dirty Bertie.

Dirty Bertie is a generic label / greeting / insult depending on how the recipient chooses to interpret it.

Nobbys four year old came up with the term a month or so ago and everyone is a Dirty Bertie apart from him. Laughing
