It's a nice touch but not one that will impact them much though unless

Their dealerships stay open. I think they are all shut now.

The lockdown is lifted soon.

Still, every little helps. (sorry, that's Tescos Wink )

I read it that as the last 3 months of the warranty were worthless (dealerships not open) they'll tag on another 3 months so you don't feel you've missed out.

Hence the 3months extension.. Which will be reviewed and possibly extended if the lockdown is extended. Be good to see some of the other brands offer something similar..

I'm not knocking it, good on them for trying to help especially off their own back without coercion. However I doubt if any of the big manufacturers will follow suit unless riding is actually banned in a country and which from the sound of motorbikes howling along the A5 it certainly isn't in UK yet.

Anything that helps the consumer is a plus at the moment. Just looking at the news and how hard it is becoming to get refunds/compensation for whatever. Many companies are not offering even what they are obliged to because of fear of the future so to offer something like this that hopefully should be a very small cost to the company is good.
