Found this the other week and its been excellent for finding and downloading fun routes onto my Garmin satnav:

https://www.bestbikingroads.com/motorcycle-roads/country/united-kingdom

Relatively easy to do using the Basecamp app.

Are there other websites like this around where I can find more routes?

I've seen that site, it does appear to be pretty good. But somehow, I've never used it Confused
You can always ask on here if there's a particular region you're thinking about. I found out about most of the good routes I've done here on BCF by reading where others have been. Although admittedly, there seems to be less of that kind of post and fewer of the folks who do a lot of touring, even before this damn virus thingy Sad

Knowing about these websites is helpful, thank you lads Thumbs Up .

However I still end up doing things the old fashioned way.
I still look at paper maps and make a note of road numbers (A1-to- A 66).
I also take a compass just so I can find a rough/general direction if needed.
I take my sat-nav in case I get very lost.
Not the most scientific or efficient , but it has seemed to work for me.

Been lost many times, but always managed to find my way home in the end.

Hello There!

I also like https://www.bestbikingroads.com/motorcycle-roads/country/united-kingdom and I use it as App. It offers some GPS and map features and it lists popular ride routes. The app also finds routes near your current location.

You have to pay for it, but it is only about £3. And I think it is worth the money. I use it to look up new roads and routes to try out, but you could also upload your own.

I also heard of REVER, which should be good especially if you like going off-road and WAZE.

Have a nice day! Smile
